At Aro, we like to do things a little differently. Our shoes aren’t just made to be worn—they’re made to be lived in, loved, and yes… even to tread lightly on the planet.

Our factory runs on 80% solar energy, which basically means our shoes soak up a little sunshine before they even reach your feet.

We’re big fans of giving things a second chance. That’s why our leather comes from the food industry—instead of ending up in landfill, it gets a second life, turning what could be waste into shoes you’ll actually want to wear.

We make our shoes in smaller quantities, because bigger isn’t always better. Less stock means less waste, less landfill, and a smaller carbon footprint.

And speaking of footprint—our soles are made from natural rubber that can be recycled, and our packaging? 100% recyclable cardboard that happily breaks down and goes back to the earth.

Even the way we ship our shoes is thoughtful. We send them over land instead of by air. Sure, it takes a little longer, but it’s a small step toward keeping carbon emissions down.
